Gaming YouTubers in India are creators who play, stream or review games, mostly on mobile and PC, and the brand that works with them has to settle three things first: how old the audience is, whether the game falls under the online gaming law, and how the paid mention is labelled. This guide comes from vexo.club — an influencer marketing agency run from one desk in Delhi NCR — and it sorts gaming channels by kind, names a few from their own About pages, and leaves out the ranking.

It types no subscriber counts and no earnings, because a typed count goes stale and an earnings figure is a guess; the one table of channels reads each count from YouTube when the page loads and dates it. The vexo.club roster has no gaming creator today, so no roster creator is described as one. A gaming brief is cast to the brief, and the desk says so plainly.

What to settle before a gaming brief

In short

  1. A brand settles three things first: how old the audience is, whether the game falls under the online gaming law, and how the paid mention is labelled.
  2. Gaming channels are sorted by kind, not by rank: mobile, PC and console, live streamers, esports, and reviews and hardware.
  3. An online money game cannot be advertised, by a creator or by a brand, and the desk does not run such a brief.
  4. A paid mention in a game video or a stream carries the ASCI label, and a live stream asks for it at the beginning and at the end.

Who are the top Indian gamers on YouTube?

There is no ranking worth printing, because the lists are sorted by subscribers and a subscriber count says nothing about who plays a game your product fits. A few public channels give a sense of the range. Each is named from its own About page, and none is a vexo.club creator.

  • Triggered Insaan. The About page calls it “a meme who laughs at memes”. The National Creators Award named Nischay Malhan, who makes it, in its gaming category, as Wikipedia’s National Creators Award page records.
  • Total Gaming. The About page says the host plays PC and mobile games, and lists Free Fire, Call of Duty Mobile, PUBG and GTA 5.
  • Techno Gamerz. The About page says the channel was made for Android games, with daily uploads about mobile gaming.
  • Dynamo Gaming. The About page is signed by Aadii “Dynamo” Sawant and gives a business email for brand work.
  • Gyan Gaming. The About page says Gyan Sujan plays MOBA Legends 5v5 as the game’s brand ambassador, which is the kind of existing deal a brief has to ask about.

The five channels above, side by side, with the public subscriber counts YouTube shows. Each is named from its own About page, and none is a vexo.club creator.

The desk names no more than that, and held back a few better-known names after its brand-safety check. Betting-app promotion has led to police cases against celebrities and influencers, among them an FIR registered in Hyderabad in March 2025 against 25 of them, as Storyboard18 reported, so the check on current news and open matters is run again on the day of every booking.

What kinds of gaming channel are there?

Five kinds cover most of what brands buy. They differ in what the audience watches for, which is what decides the brief.

Kinds of gaming channel, and what each gives a brand

What the audience watches forCheck first
Mobile gameplayPlaying, tips and entertainment on a phoneAudience age, which skews young
PC and console gameplayPlaying and showing off a buildWhether the brand fits a game with an age rating
Live streamersA person, live, in a chat of regularsHow and when the paid mention is labelled on air
Esports commentary and tournamentsThe match, the team and the resultWho owns the tournament and the team marks
Reviews and hardwareA verdict before buying a device or a gameWhether the review is paid, and said so
A starting grid, not a ranking. The first check is the one most often skipped for that kind.

How do Indian gamers stream games, and where?

Many stream on YouTube, either live or as an uploaded video, and some on other platforms such as Twitch. A live stream is watched together with a chat, so the creator’s voice carries the product in real time and cannot be edited afterwards. That is a strength for authenticity and a weakness for control, and the plan reflects it.

A live stream for a brand

Strengths

  • The creator’s voice carries the product in real time
  • A live audience and a chat of regulars

Weaknesses

  • It cannot be edited afterwards
  • A label that late joiners never see

Verdict A strength for authenticity and a weakness for control: the plan reflects it.

Which gaming briefs can a brand run, and which not?

A brand can brief free-to-play games, social games, esports, game hardware and the products gamers buy, such as snacks, drinks, phones and data plans. It cannot advertise an online money game. The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025, prohibits online money games, whether they rest on chance, skill or both, and prohibits advertising them, as the Press Information Bureau’s summary of the Act sets out. The same law recognises esports as a competitive sport.

Gaming briefs: in, and out

Briefs a brand may run

  • Free-to-play and social games, with the right audience
  • Esports: tournaments, teams, commentary
  • Hardware and the products gamers buy

Briefs the desk will not run

  • Any online game played for money
  • A creator promoting one, on stream or off it
  • A mention that points viewers to one
The desk’s working reading of the Act, not legal advice. The rules and the law as they stand on the day of the shoot are the ones that apply.

The Act’s rules came into force on 1 May 2026, according to All India Radio’s report. Take advice from counsel on any game that is close to the line, and ask the creator what else they promote, since a stream with a money-game sponsor is a poor place for a clean brand.

What is the right audience age for a gaming brief?

Gaming audiences often skew young, and an under-18 audience changes what a brand may say and show. A claim that is fine to an adult can be a problem to a child, and a snack or a drink is judged differently when the viewers are minors. The audience check settles it from the creator’s own data before any rate is agreed, and the brief records the result.

The age check for a gaming brief

  • Audience age bands, from the creator’s own analytics
  • Whether the channel is set as made for children
  • The game’s own age rating, against the brand’s product
  • Whether the product may be marketed to under-18s at all
  • What the creator says to a young audience in chat
  • A parent-facing line, where the product is bought by parents
Six lines. The first answers the rest.

How does ASCI apply to a paid mention in a game or a stream?

A paid mention in a game video or a stream is advertising, and it is labelled. ASCI’s influencer guidelines apply to a payment, a free product, a commission or an agreement to post, so a sponsor overlay, a promo code read aloud and a branded loadout all count. The desk’s working practice for a long video or a live stream is to say it aloud and show it near the start, and to repeat it in the description.

Labelling a paid mention in a game video or a stream

  • Do

Say the label aloud and show it near the start of a long video or a stream

    Don’t

Leave it where people who join late never see it

  • Do

Announce it at the beginning and at the end of a live stream, and add it to the caption if the stream stays up

    Don’t

    Leave the replay unlabelled

  • Do

Ask the creator what else they promote

    Don’t

Put a clean brand in a stream with a money-game sponsor

ASCI’s guidelines apply to a payment, a free product, a commission or an agreement to post.

A stream is the harder case, because people join late. ASCI’s guidelines ask for the label to be announced at the beginning and at the end of a live stream, and added to the caption if the stream stays up afterwards; the desk also repeats it during the stream and keeps a standing line in the title or description. ASCI disclosure for brands sets out who labels what and who checks, and it is read alongside the guidelines themselves.

How a gaming integration is run

  1. Brief Product, facts, audience age and the games in scope
  2. Audience check Age, geography and language from the creator’s exports
  3. Contract Exclusivity, usage and the labelling duty
  4. Play and post Live or uploaded, labelled near the start
  5. Review The label seen, the claim true, the report read against the check
The creator plays on their own account and in their own voice. The brand approves the facts and the label.

Which format fits a gaming brief?

The format follows what the audience is there for. A dedicated video suits a launch the creator can play with, an integration suits a product the audience already uses, and a tournament or team tie-in suits a brand that wants a place in the match.

Gaming formats, and what to watch in each

A brand fits whenWatch for
Dedicated videoThe product can be played, used or unboxedA script that reads as an advert, not a play
Integration in gameplayThe product is already part of the game’s worldA mention that interrupts the match
Live stream sponsorshipThe brand wants a live audience and chatA label that late joiners never see
Tournament or team tie-inThe brand wants a place in the resultWho holds the rights to team and event marks
The desk’s guide to YouTube formats covers the rest.

The format notes are in YouTube integration or a dedicated video, and the desk’s page on YouTube influencer marketing sets out how a YouTube brief is run. Hardware and app briefs for the gaming audience also sit close to tech, so the Tech & Gadgets creators page is a second place to look.

Who are the richest gamers in India?

This article does not say, because earnings are not published and any figure online is an estimate. A brand does not need the figure either. It needs to know who watches, what they do after, and what the creator will say, and each of those is checked, not guessed.

What should a brand check before booking a gaming YouTuber?

Check the audience age first, then the game, then the label. The audience method is in how to check an influencer’s audience before you pay, and a gaming channel is a good place to apply it, because a gaming audience can include giveaway crowds who follow for a prize, and the check reads the comments and the views for them.

Usage matters more than it looks, because a brand often wants to reuse a creator’s clip in its own ads, and a clip of a game may also belong in part to the publisher. Read usage rights and creator whitelisting explained before the contract, and ask the creator what the game’s publisher allows. A brief for gamers in Delhi NCR starts at the Delhi desk page, and a brief for anywhere can be sent to the desk.

Questions brands ask

Who is the number one gamer in India? No source settles it, and it changes with the measure and the month. A live subscriber count for any gaming channel is on its own page, and Social Blade keeps the history. A brand is better served by a game, an audience age and an audience check than by a name.

Can a brand advertise a real-money game through a gaming YouTuber? No. The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025, prohibits online money games and advertising them, as the Press Information Bureau’s summary sets out. The desk does not run such briefs, and a creator who promotes one is a poor fit for a clean brand.

Does the vexo.club roster have gaming creators? Not at the moment. The desk says so rather than describe a creator as a gamer when the record does not, and a gaming brief is cast to the brief, with audience fit stated per creator before any rate.

Are gaming audiences too young for a brand? Some are, and that is what the audience check is for. It reads the age bands in the creator’s own analytics before a rate is agreed. If the audience is largely under 18, a category such as snacks or drinks may be a poor fit, and the brief changes or the creator does.

Does a paid mention in a stream need a label? Yes. ASCI’s influencer guidelines apply to a payment, a free product, a commission or an agreement to post, and for a live stream they ask for the label at the beginning and at the end. The desk also repeats it during the stream for people who join late.

Send the desk a brief — it comes back as a shortlist and a directional band, never a public price.
