There is no list of the top YouTubers in India that stays true for a week: subscriber counts change daily, and many of the biggest channels belong to companies, not people. This guide comes from vexo.club — an influencer marketing agency run from one desk in Delhi NCR — and it groups India’s YouTube channels by category, says where the live numbers are published, and ends on what a brand checks before it books one.
It types no subscriber count and makes no ranking of its own, on purpose. A count is a fact about one afternoon, so the table near the end reads each one from YouTube when the page loads and prints the date beside it; the place to read the current figure is still the channel itself. The public channels named below are named from each channel’s own About page, and none of them is a vexo.club creator. Roster creators are linked to their profiles and described only from their records.
What to know before you read any list
In short
- No list of top YouTubers in India stays true for a week: counts change daily, and many of the biggest channels belong to companies.
- “Top” asks three questions: most subscribed, most watched and right for this brief. A campaign needs the last one.
- Choose a category first and a creator second, and read each count where it is published, with its date.
- Before a booking, check the audience, the format and the rights.
Who are the top YouTubers in India?
That depends on which question sits behind the word “top”. Three different questions get asked, and each has a different place to look. Most of the searches this article answers are the first one. A brand booking a campaign is asking the third.
Three questions behind “top”
| Where the answer is published | What it leaves out | |
|---|---|---|
| Most subscribed | The channel page itself; Social Blade keeps daily history | Who watches, and whether they buy |
| Most watched | Each channel’s own analytics; a creator can share them | Views from outside India, and views from one viral video |
| Right for this brief | Nowhere public: an audience check on the exports | Nothing, which is why it takes work |
Which are the most subscribed YouTube channels in India, and where is the live count?
The live count is on each channel’s own page, and Social Blade publishes daily history for channels by country. YouTube shows an abbreviated public count that updates in steps, which its help page on subscriber counts explains. So a number typed into an article is out of date by the time it is read, which is why this one types none: the table below reads the counts from YouTube and dates them.
Sorted by subscribers, the lists on Social Blade tend to be led by companies: music labels and television networks, with a person’s channel somewhere below. That is not a flaw in the lists. A label has a catalogue of songs people search for, and a network has decades of shows. It does mean a most-subscribed list answers a different question from “who should we brief”.
How to check a channel’s count yourself
- Open the channel page Read the abbreviated public count and today’s date
- Cross-check Social Blade shows the same channel’s daily history
- Ask for the exports The creator shares YouTube Studio audience and views data
- Record the date A count in a brief is dated, never evergreen
Who is India’s number one YouTuber?
There is no stable answer, because “number one” changes with the measure and the week. Most subscribed, most viewed in a year and most trusted by one audience are three different channels in different months. A brand that wants a name to put in a deck is better served by a category and an audience, which is the shape of this article.
Reading a list of YouTubers
Do
Read the count on the channel page and record its date
Don’t
Quote a count from an article as if it were current
Do
Ask the creator for YouTube Studio audience and views data
Don’t
Judge an audience from a subscriber count
Do
Name a category and an audience for the brief
Don’t
Name a number one for a deck
Music labels and individual creators: what is the difference?
A label channel is a company’s catalogue. An individual creator is a person’s voice. T-Series describes itself on its About page as a music label and movie studio, and Zee Music Company says on its About page that it is part of a television and entertainment company. Their audiences came for songs and films, not for one person’s opinion.
Label or network channel against individual creator
| Label or network channel | Individual creator | |
|---|---|---|
| What is on the channel | A catalogue of songs, films or shows owned by a company | A person’s face, voice and judgement |
| Who agrees the deal | The company’s rights and sales team | The creator or their manager |
| Best for | A song or film tie-in, a placement in a release | An integration or a dedicated video in their own words |
The difference decides the brief. A launch that wants a song behind it talks to a label. A launch that wants a person to say “I used this” talks to a creator, and that conversation is about trust, not catalogue. The desk’s guide to YouTube integration or a dedicated video covers the formats a creator can offer.
Which YouTube channels are famous in India, by category?
Famous in one category is unknown in another, so the useful grouping is by what the channel makes. Each category below names a few public channels from their own About pages, and the roster creators who work in it. A brand reading this is choosing a category before a creator.
YouTube categories, what suits each, and the first check
| Suits a brief for | Check first | |
|---|---|---|
| Entertainment and comedy | Mass reach, product-in-story integrations | Whether the audience matches the product’s buyer |
| Education | Apps, courses, careers, anything explained | The claim made on screen: it has to be true |
| Tech | Phones, laptops, appliances, apps | Whether the review is paid, and said so |
| Gaming | Hardware, apps, snacks, youth brands | Audience age, before anything else |
| Food | Kitchen products, packaged food, delivery | Health claims against what the pack says |
| Finance | Banking, investing and insurance apps | Who is allowed to say what, under securities and ASCI rules |
| Regional language | A launch in one language and region | Whether the script is written in the language |
Who are the top entertainment and comedy YouTubers in India?
Entertainment is the widest category, and it covers sketch, vlog and lifestyle channels that make one audience laugh. Amit Bhadana’s channel says it will “make you laugh”, and BhaDiPa describes itself on its About page as a Marathi channel making comedy and music videos. On the roster, Harsh Beniwal, Raj Grover, Anoop Masterji and Sourav Joshi are recorded under Comedy & Entertainment on Instagram and YouTube. The category page is Comedy & Entertainment creators.
Who are the top education YouTubers in India?
Education channels teach: a subject, a skill or a career. Education is also where the claim on screen matters most, because a viewer acts on it. The roster records these Education creators on YouTube: Apna College for programming and placement preparation, Aman Dhattarwal for career guidance, Ashu Ghai for science experiments, Ankit Avasthi for current affairs and competitive exams, Gaurav Thakur for science, history and technology, Harry Sahota for Indian history and culture, and Faraz Khan for philosophy and psychology under the Desi Philosopher name. The category page is Education creators.
Who are the top tech YouTubers in India?
Tech channels review and explain devices. Technical Guruji’s About page is written in Hindi and opens by welcoming viewers to a channel about technology. Trakin Tech says on its About page that it features daily smartphone and gadget reviews, and the Geekyranjit About page says it covers gadgets and smartphones in English. The roster lists Ishan Sharma and AevyTV under Tech & Gadgets, and the category page is Tech & Gadgets creators.
Who are the top gaming YouTubers in India?
Gaming channels play and stream games, mostly on mobile and PC. Triggered Insaan, Total Gaming, Techno Gamerz, Dynamo Gaming and Gyan Gaming each run a gaming channel with its own About page, and the National Creators Award named Nischay Malhan, who makes Triggered Insaan, in its gaming category, as Wikipedia’s National Creators Award page records. Gaming carries its own rules for brands, from audience age to the online gaming law, so a gaming brief starts with those checks rather than with a channel.
Who are the top food YouTubers in India?
Food channels cook, review and travel for a meal. Kabita’s Kitchen says on its About page that it posts simple, authentic Indian recipes hosted by Kabita Singh, and Village Cooking Channel says on its About page that it shows traditional village food. The vexo.club roster has no food category at the moment, so a food brief is cast to the brief, not from a list.
Who are the top finance YouTubers in India?
Finance channels explain money: investing, tax, insurance and credit. CA Rachana Phadke Ranade’s About page describes courses for learning the stock market in simple language. On the roster, Sharan Hegde is recorded under Finance & Business on YouTube, and the category page is Finance & Business creators. Finance is the category where a brand brief is most likely to touch a regulator, so the claim, the disclosure and who may say it are settled before the shoot.
Which Tamil, Marathi and other regional YouTube channels do brands use?
Regional channels are chosen by language first. Tamil Tech describes itself on its About page as a technology channel run by Tamil Selvan, and BhaDiPa is a Marathi channel. Searches such as the top Tamil YouTube channels are really asking for a language list, and a language list is a casting question. The desk’s guides to South Indian influencers and to running a regional launch in four languages cover how a brief survives more than one.

Are the vexo.club roster creators on YouTube?
Many are, and every roster profile lists the platforms it is on. The roster creators named in this article are independent: the desk takes a brief to them and they confirm availability and terms, and their management stays with them. Each profile says so under “Works with vexo.club as”. The full list is on the roster.
What should a brand check before booking a YouTuber?
Check the audience first, then the format, then the rights. A big channel with the wrong audience wastes the same rupees as a small one, and the check takes a day, not a week.
Before a YouTube booking
- Audience geography, age and language, from the creator’s own exports
- Views per video over recent uploads, not the best one
- A format that fits: integration, dedicated video or a Short
- The ASCI disclosure label on the paid video, and where it sits
- Usage rights in writing: where the video may run, and for how long
- The category rule: finance, health and gaming each have one
- Who signs: the creator, a manager or a company
The method for the first check is in how to check an influencer’s audience before you pay, and the label rules are in ASCI disclosure for brands. Usage is the line that quietly breaks budgets, so usage rights is worth reading before the contract. The desk’s page on YouTube influencer marketing sets out how a YouTube brief is run, and how to hire influencers in India covers the routes. Delhi NCR briefs are on the Delhi desk page.
To book a roster creator, send the desk a brief that names them. To cast outside the roster, the desk builds a shortlist to the brief, with audience fit stated per creator before any rate.
Questions brands ask
Who has the most subscribers on YouTube in India? It changes, and the answer depends on whether companies count. The live count for any channel is on its own page, and Social Blade keeps daily history. This article types none, because a typed count is stale by the time it is read; the table reads them from YouTube and dates them.
How many YouTube channels are there in India? YouTube gave figures at the WAVES summit in Mumbai in May 2025: its chief executive Neal Mohan said more than 100 million channels in India had uploaded content in the past year, and more than 15,000 of them had over one million subscribers, as YouTube’s India blog recorded on 5 May 2025. These are the platform’s figures, not ours.
Is a music label’s channel the same as a creator’s? No. A label channel is a company’s catalogue, bought through its rights and sales team. A creator’s channel is a person’s voice, bought through the creator or their manager. The two answer different briefs.
Does vexo.club work with the public YouTubers named here? No, and this article does not imply it. They are named from their own About pages. The only creators described as working with the desk are the ones linked to a roster profile, and the profile says on what terms.
Can a brand book a YouTuber through the desk? Yes, for the roster creators and for creators the desk shortlists to the brief. Send a brief that names the creator or the category, and the desk returns audience fit and a rate card. Rates are not published, because they depend on format and usage.
Send the desk a brief — it comes back as a shortlist and a directional band, never a public price.
