Tamil Nadu’s own discount season: textiles, jewellery, appliances and electronics, with T. Nagar at its densest. Haul and try-on formats fit naturally. Aadi is a season, not a month.

Madras Day on 22 August and the week around it: heritage and photo walks, talks, food festivals. Creator city-walk series and local-pride notes — the one week a Madras influencer marketing brief can say Madras the way the city does, affectionately, and mean it.

The other big spend: new clothes, sweets, electronics and gifting, and another big-film release weekend. Brief by early September; the Navaratri sale weeks before it keep the creative to shopping and gifting, with Golu displays left alone.
